I’m biased. Let me start there. I love journaling, because writing is my desired form of communication. And I have anxiety. I’m an overthinker. I need to get those thoughts out. Journaling pushes me to write the thoughts, which addresses and quiets them.
I write my concerns. I write lists of the tasks that are stressing me. I write what makes me happy. I write what makes me mad. I don’t argue, but I furiously journal at times. (Lol, but no lol)
There’s endless reasons to journal, and unlimited benefits. It also ties hand in hand with the upcoming vision board party. Journaling is a great way to identify what you want to change, how you want to live, and what makes you happy (hint: add more of whatever that is).
Journaling doesn’t come naturally to everyone, and I get that. Prompts will help you get started. Try sitting for 15-minutes to answer one of these every day this week. Here are journal prompts to help you start journaling.

January 17, 2022Oh my gosh Amirah!! I love all. The names/titles you’ve given yourself!! I also love today’s post and journal prompts. I’m a journaler myself and it’s such a freeing form of expression. I’m excited to do this week’s prompts and see what comes up.

January 25, 2022As someone who fell in love with writing at the age of 6, later majoring in Journalism, but never using the degree.. I truly appreciate these prompts, they are some really GREAT questions! Journaling is something that has always been extremely therapeutic for me, yet I have always had trouble prioritizing the life-altering habit like I should. THANK YOU so much for post, you never disappoint with the content you provide. I have been following your life’s journey since 2013, and its always helpful to pop up on your site every now and then, for that guaranteed motivation of self-accountability and self-assurance, and better yet the resources to achieve these goals. <3
PS: I absolutely LOVE the first book in your romance series! I have the other two to read, but I'm going to reread the first one again to refresh my memory, plus it is just TOO good not to double back

April 5, 2022So sorry for the late response. Thank you so much!!! I’m glad you like the journal prompts. I like to find ways to help people connect with themselves. There are so many common questions we’d never ask ourselves with prompting.
